Lemon Pasta

Ingredients

  • 400g spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon zest and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the lemon juice, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce is smooth.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with lemon zest and parsley before serving.

Tips

For a protein boost, add grilled chicken or shrimp to the dish. Adjust the lemon juice and Parmesan to taste for the perfect balance of flavors.
