Lemon Pasta – Creamy and Zesty Delight
Ingredients
- 400g spaghetti or fettuccine
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon zest and parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- Add the lemon juice, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce is smooth.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with lemon zest and parsley before serving.
Tips
For a protein boost, add grilled chicken or shrimp to the dish. Adjust the lemon juice and Parmesan to taste for the perfect balance of flavors.
